What is Blogs:-

What is Portals & CMS Websites:-

Portal is a term, generally synonymous with gateway, for a World Wide Web site that is or proposes to be a major starting site for users when they get connected to the Web or that users tend to visit as an anchor site. There are general portals and specialized or niche portals. Some major general portals include Yahoo, Excite, Netscape, Lycos, CNET, Microsoft Network, and America Online's AOL.com.

A content management system (CMS) is a computer software system for organizing and facilitating collaborative creation of documents and other content. A content management system is frequently a web application used for managing websites and web content, though in many cases, content management systems require special client software for editing and constructing articles.

• CMS Stands for Content Management System.
• CMS is best suited for advance corporate site and sites with lots of dynamic contents, news feeds, search facility, login feature etc.
• Don’t include custom module installation & configuration or development. These will cost extra. Cost will depend on the module to be installed and features to be developed.
• If any of these applications associate any licensing fee, clients have to pay for it.
